Hello! My name is Benjamin, and welcome to my neurodiverse path!

At a young age I was vigorously tested, and many of my doctors came to the same conclusion: I was a complex young man. I was originally diagnosed with CAP (Central Auditory Processing Disorder), Autism, and Generalized Anxiety. However after some negative reactions to regular antidepressants, doctors believed there was another piece to the puzzle. That's when I was transferred to a Bipolar clinic, and diagnosed with Bipolar II in addition to my previous diagnosis.

So I was a complex young man. To some doctors that meant adjusting expectations, telling us I would never live a "normal" life, go to a "normal" school, or even make "normal" friends. Despite that, through a supportive family, and great healthcare professionals; I am starting to live my best life! Although they were right about one thing...

My life isn't normal, and that's not a bad thing at all! I am now 23 years old, and living in Canada with my wonderful and loving wife. For too long I viewed my own Autism as a negative, something to be ashamed of and hide; however I now believe that Autism is another piece that makes me the great person I am!

For now, I wish to pursue further opportunities in acting, in addition to public speaking. Through these fields, I hope to represent other amazing individuals with Autism, and inspire others like me to step out and be proud of their Autism!

My motto, love and respect others, and live everyday with empathy; you never know what someone else may be going through.
